CordenPharma has completed its acquisition of US-headquartered peptide CDMO AmbioPharm, first announced May 27, 2026. With closing on August 3, 2026, AmbioPharm's facilities in North Augusta, South Carolina and Shanghai, China join CordenPharma's global manufacturing network.

The sites will operate as CordenPharma South Carolina (expanded downstream purification and lyophilization, with upstream investment planned) and CordenPharma Shanghai (upstream SPPS/LPPS capacity). In the US, the South Carolina site complements CordenPharma Colorado (expanded R&D plus large-scale commercial); in Europe, the Frankfurt GMP development site anchors the network — giving customers supply options across three continents.
