This month's verification pass brought two badges, GMP Certified and Third-Party Tested, in line with the evidence rules our confidence scores already use. Scores have long given credit only for lab reports the testing lab can confirm, and none for "GMP-aligned" wording that names no certification. The badges now apply the same rules, so a badge and a score never disagree about the same evidence.
GMP Certified: same standard as the score
The badge now sits on the regulator records we already look for when scoring: an FDA drug inspection, an EU GMP certificate in EudraGMDP, a national drug manufacturing licence, a US Drug Master File, or a named regulator audit.
We re-checked every listed manufacturer against FDA inspection data, FDA import alerts and EudraGMDP. That added the badge to more than 40 manufacturers with records, including Almac, Vetter, Sterling, Asymchem, Hybio and Biosynth, and removed it where only website wording supported it. 82 suppliers now carry it.
Third-Party Tested: the lab is named
As with scoring, the badge now goes to suppliers whose certificates of analysis name the independent lab, for example Janoshik, Freedom Diagnostics, Vanguard or Accumark. Listings that say "third-party tested" without naming the lab now say that plainly. Large pharmaceutical manufacturers that test in-house under GMP rely on their GMP badge instead. 98 suppliers now carry it.
New FDA notices
- Darmerica: December 2025 warning letter citing CGMP violations and distribution of unapproved peptide APIs, including retatrutide.
- Biopeptek: affiliate Qingdao Biopeptek has been on FDA Import Alert 66-79 (firms refusing FDA inspection) since January 2026.
- Reliance Life Sciences: August 2026 warning letter, in addition to its existing import alert.
- Curia: September 2026 warning letter for its Rensselaer, New York site.
Scores are capped while these are open, as described on our scoring page.
Corrections
USV, Neuland and JPT each had more than one listing. They are now merged into one listing each, and the old addresses redirect. One listing's certificate turned out to belong to a different company, and its listing now says so. Peptides Lab UK's domain no longer resolves, so it is marked offline.
What happens next
New listings are checked against the same evidence standard before publication. Represent a listed supplier and hold a GMP certificate, licence or DMF we missed? Send it to us and we will update the listing.
